This was actually bigger than I expected, and well made. It can be adjusted so the built in light shines from above onto the scene by itself, or with the flip of a switch, glitter swirls continuously, which is quite lovely. Another flip of the switch and it plays a loop of 8 different Christmas carols. Unfortunately, there is no volume control, and it was a little loud for my taste, but my grandchildren loved it. They stood entranced, watching the glitter swirl, listening to the music. Definitely recommend this snow "globe".
