I used this on my glasses and it did an excellent job getting the dirt off of the little crevices of my frames. I have clear plastic glasses and a simple soak was not working for me at all. This cleaner did a great job! You cannot use these on coated lenses— so do keep that in mind if you are buying this to clean glasses. I’m sure it will work just as well for jewelry! I like that you just need to use water to operate this— no chemicals. Overall, I am happy with this product.Easy to use. Jewelry looked sparkly when I took it out. Basket was large enough to fit several pieces of jewelry at a time.I really like this ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. I have used it to clean my wedding rings and it really makes them sparkle. I would like to use them on my glasses but I’m afraid it would mess up the expensive coating I have on my lenses so I don’t think I’ll end be attempting that. When I clean my rings- I fill it up with hot water, add a drop of dawn dishwashing liquid and then just drop the rings in. The first time I had to run the 180 setting twice to get them where I was satisfied! It really did a good job getting in all the small crevices and removing all the built up gunk. I've always found jewelry to be one of the most difficult things to get really clean and an ultrasonic cleaner is a must. I used to take my diamond ring to the jewelers for cleaning in their machine. I stopped wearing it 10 years ago but have plenty of other jewelry that I've started cleaning with this machine.My daughter in law cleaned her diamond and was ecstatic at how good it looked afterwards.It's easy to use and has a variety of times to set for cleaning. It's quiet. There are many of these out on the market so it can be hard to select one - although this one is on the expensive side it's worth it for the size. Not all of them will fit glasses or dentures, but this one will.Recommended.This is a fantastic little cleaner that works well. It comes with a well written product manual that walks you through all the safety protocols and product usage instructions. It has a nice size stainless steel chamber (20oz) and good power. The easy touch screen operation is a plus and shuts off when it reaches its preset time. It’s pretty quiet and very easy to operate. I used Dawn dishwashing liquid, but I’m sure any will do. Simply add a few drops in the water and you’re ready to go; it did a great job cleaning my jewelry. I had a few silver earrings that really needed polishing and the Ultrasonic Cleaner stepped up and did the job. I’m very pleased everything is sparkling without the hard work normally associated with cleaning my jewelry. I highly recommend.
