When choosing from a couple of different meat thermometers I ultimately picked this one, the Juseepo, for a couple of reasons. One, the description said it’s perfect for the BBQ, making candy, outdoor cooking and liquid. Two, it’s waterproof. Three, it gives you the temperature as a number reading, not as a hash mark that you have to squint to see. I was tired of the typical meat thermometers where you have to count lines to see what temperature it’s at. Digital thermometers are the best choice in meat thermometers now. This one says it is ultra fast and accurate, and having used it, I can attest to it being very fast — the 2-4 seconds isn’t a lie. It’s that quick!A couple other features I liked about this were the built-in magnet so you can put it on your refrigerator and the hang hole so you could hang it if you want. I like the magnet option, so it doesn’t get lost in one of my drawers or get damaged from other things falling on top of it.The design of the thermometer is great because the handle is made of plastic, not metal, and it’s got a long enough stem that your hand is away from the heat of the cooked meat or grill while testing the temperature. It’s also waterproof, which means it’s easy to clean, and the digital screen won’t be destroyed every time you wash it. The backlight of the display is bright blue so you can easily read the numbers no matter your kitchen lighting situation.I am the kind of person who has traditionally overcooked their meat because they’d rather be careful and avoid undercooking it. Typical thermometers never made sense to me so I was looking for a digital one so I don’t have to keep eating dry chicken. I’m excited to use this while grilling or cooking meat in the oven. I had a great experience with it while making lasagna recently. I’m looking forward to giving candy making a try this holiday season now that I can accurately read temperatures at my house. This grill thermometer is simple and complex in all of the best ways. As for the physical product, it is fairly simple in that you have the "transmitter" unit, where the temperature probes connect and then a receiver that has all of the main controls and display. There are few buttons and each has many options based on how you press them. I have not had time to use every feature of it because there are so many (Timer, temperature alarm, meat type, meat cook, etc). And since there are four probes, you can select all of those features individually for each probe. While all these options make it a bit difficult to navigate at first, it makes this product so much more versatile once you get the hang of it. I have had many different meat thermometers in the past, and this one is just as good but just a fair bit cheaper and easy to use as you can do everything you need from wherever you are without having to even go to the grill itself. I am interested to see if this thermometer will have any application in the oven. One thing to note is that the "transmitter" portion is not heat resistant so be sure to keep it well away from the hot metal of the grill, oven, sec. While I have not done a super accurate test, the temperature readings are seemingly accurate or at least accurate enough for your general grilling needs. All in all it is overall very easy to use and does its job well. Can't beat it for the price! When looking for a meat thermometer there were several ones to choose from and I am so glad I chose the Juseepo waterproof digital thermometer. It came within two days and I got to use it right away to cook a turkey I had in my freezer. In the past I have always relied on the thermometers stuck in the turkeys when you buy them but have found them to be very inaccurate. Not so with the Juseepo thermometer. This thermometer is made with Food Grade 304 stainless steel, which makes it very hygienic and safe. Some of the other great aspects of this meat thermometer is that it is easy to read because its digital, it has a hard plastic cover which makes it waterproof, and the handle is long enough so you don’t burn your hands. I am also really liking the fact that it has a cooking heating guide right on the back of the thermometer for different types of meats. This has proved extra handy so I don’t have to keep looking this up in a cook book. In addition, this thermometer comes with an extra lithium battery, and the back of the thermometer is magnetic so you can easily store it (I keep mine on the outside of my stove). I like the fact that there is the option to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees so it can be used universally. I have since used this thermometer to cook a chicken and look forward to using it to cook many more great meals for my family and friends. Finally, one other great aspect of buying the Juseepo meat thermometer is that not only is it of great quality but it provides a 100% lifetime warranty. What a trustworthy company. I am so pleased I chose the Juseepo meat thermometer.
