This product worked so well I ended up buying another. The timer shown is not the timer that came with the kit. I wanted to be able to control and automate both the misters and filling water troughs. We are in Arizona, so when it's dry these drop the temperature a lot. When it's 108 and humid, it's not as effective but better than nothing.Lessons learned:Test the system before you put it up. I laid it on the ground and let it run for about 5 minutes. I then pushed in the leaky ends that I thought had clicked but hadn't. It's tempting to put it together as you hang it, but much harder to troubleshoot.Teflon tape is your friend. You can separate the slip-locks if you need to - use one hand to pull the loose lock (the part that had to click to lock it in) into the slip lock body and pull the tubing out with the other hand.Orbit mist system nozzles, tubing, and slip lock parts work with this system.Get an auto drain valve and add at the lowest point before the filter so water doesn't sit in the system. If you want your system to branch, plan ahead and get extra tubing fees or right angles. If you are in Arizona or other places with ridiculously hard water get a calcium filter. The system that i haven't added the auto drain valve to yet is showing some calcium buildup. For some reason, this system seems to have become much more expensive since I bought it a few weeks ago, but I may still get a third system for the humans.
