Working great so far and comparing to the other brand I had, this is better but the only thing I don’t like about it is that you can not set a specific time for watering. It is either every 6h, 12h or 24h.I assumed all three outlets were programmable however two outlets are actually hooked to the timer to be program the third outlet on the left has a manual on and off which would be quite handy but wasn’t what I was looking for I needed one with three independent outlets that I could set a time zoneThis timer works perfectly! It’s very user friendly. I recommend this timer for anyone looking for a easy to use 2 zone timer! The seller was excellent as well!Super easy to set up and useProduct is good and works well. Until it didn’t. Only issue is there is no every 8hr option which is annoying. Otherwise it was good for a year and then it completely died. That being said I contacted customer service, the automated service texted me a link, automated chat gathered my product info and sent me a code to buy a new one for free. Super super easy! Not a 3 port timer. 2 ports 1 bypass. Still worked for my needs but was a tad misled by the title. Should have read more. Disappointed a bit. Orbit timers are amazing though.I really like this unit especially the manual tap feature. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to be sure your static water pressure is within the spec limits. When I initially installed this, I could not get it to completely stop leaking at the base of the screw knob. Then when I started installing the drip irrigation system the tubes kept popping off. The solution is simple. Put an inexpensive ($10 on Amazon) inline pressure regulator that keeps the pressure between 40-50 psi between the hose bib and the timer. All problems were solved including the popping tubes. One aside…Evidently, I didn’t pay attention that the unit I ordered was refurbished. The unit came bare bones (no instructions, brace, or anything else). But given the price and its performance I am still very happy. Just be careful.I didn’t like that the third outlet was not programmable. I wanted a timer that had three programmable outlets. It is fairly complicated to program unless you are doing just the basic. It also leaks. I should have purchased the less expensive one with two programmable outlets. This was my second purchase of an Orbit watering timer, the first lasting maybe 4 or 5 years, and I was very pleased with its ease of use and convenience. This time, however, I was sent a device suited to American threads only. Needless to say, with the stress of COVID, I thought I was just being stupid when I couldn’t attach it to the outside tap. I put it aside and watered by hand! A year later, I tried to attach it again but looked more carefully at the thread angle. I noticed the difference this time and contacted Orbit directly via email - I didn’t get a reply. So, product assigned to bin in utter disgust and alternative bought.best watering timer everThere are several reviews of this product claiming that it was a sturdy build. Well, I am on my fourth one - it does not last! You can get two summers out of it, may be three, but that is it. We need a two-zone timer with a manual zone. Every time I have to buy a new one I check for other options, but unfortunately only this one fits the requirements. So, I grudgingly buy a new one, but I strongly suggest - before you buy this one, check if some other timer will not do the job for you. I do not find it to be a good value for the money.Product is great when it is working correctly. It is very 'large' but I had the space for it in my garden so not an issue. All was well until about 1 month after purchase when the program was set to water for one of the spigots, no water came out. I could here the small click that is common when it opens up for watering, but inspite of the click, no water. I managed to apply some suction and finally the valve opened up again, but now I can't trust that it will open properly to water, which means I only want to use it close to my house where I can easily check, versus out in the garden it was purchased for. Sad given how new the unit is!I have purchased others and love having a timer. I bought this one taking a chance from the reviews. I bought in 2019 and used for 3 months of the year. The end of every year, I dry out, take batteries out and store in my house over winter. I brought it out last week and hooked up. Water poured out the bottom. And just like that, it is garbage. Quit a costly item to be used for in total 9 months. Very disapppinted! Taking a chance when you buy it!
