The 2-cycle Dryer Timer controls the electrical components of the appliance and duration of its drying cycles. Note that this replacement item does not include the timer knob, but you can purchase it separately. This part is designed to used with select Whirlpool® and Maytag® dryers; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
