I initially purchased these same timers under another brand name at Fortunoff's, which has since closed. I had them for years and years and, when I finally had to replace one, searched long and hard to find a replacement (now sold under the Treaceable brand name). I have 2 of these timers in the kitchen of each of my two houses. I love them because they beep long and loud, the digits are big and bold enough to be seen from across the room (although the timers themselves are not overly large), and also because they begin counting up additional minutes immediately upon ringing. So, if you don't react immediately, you'll know your dish has been cooking an additional 5 minutes and 30 seconds, or whatever. Of course, it goes without saying that they're also very accurate. I highly recommend them.
