I have owned a few of these and love them. I thought I would buy a smart watch to go with my phone when I needed to replace my Timex but I really don't want to be that connected. This watch has been my go to for many years. The only thing I don't love is the velcro band. I always change it out. Solid purchase. This is an exact replacement for the previous one. She wears it on the farm at all times, so it gets a lot of abuse. The part that wore out was the band. I figured it would be easier to get a new watch instead of trying to find the right sized band.My grandson loves this durable watch. It has a clear digital display, is appealing and comfortable to use. Being water resistant means he can shower with it on if he forgets to remove it. Recommended.I wanted a digital watch that lights up. This watch does this PLUS it has a chronometer, a timer and THREE alarms! How lucky am I. I'll never miss my medication times again. I only wish I had better vision or having a bigger display with bigger numbers would be great. These cheap plastic watches last & last & keep lasting long. They are simple, can endure a lot of abuse at construction sites, and do the job. Well worth the price. Value for my money.Found this watch easy to read and very comfortable to wear. Loved the fact that I could set a timer on it to alert me to food awas cooking or other tasks that needed to be done. Really glad I got it.was a little smaller and smaller band than expected. Works fine. Haven't tested the "water resistance"It is a Timex! Takes a licking and keeps on working. Well worth the money. It is my second watch.I bought this wrist watch to keep time while outdoors, in the sea, up rock faces, on snowy mountains and just generally having fun.I was looking for a small, light item with a large, legible display and that is precisely what this watch does well. Small. Light. Legible. It feels solid and, indeed, mine has already survived five days on snowy alpine slopes, several train journeys and a fair amount of sweat. The face does not scratch too easily - mine hasn't picked up any - and the strap feels robust. I am sure it will handle climbing chalk and sunblock (in the summer) without issue.I would like to see a better system for securing the free end of the strap - it tends to flap about a bit and the little loop of fabric that is supposed to secure it is rather inadequate. I'd also like to see a proper back-light. The 'glow' system is not to my taste. Neither of these two criticisms are serious ones.I deliberately chose it for the small face because most men's sports watches are too bulky and catch on things. It's not fancy but has all th features you really need. My only criticism is that the fabric strap is starting to look shabby, after not that much casual wear.Good value watch for an 11 year old - full of functions, but not too hard to operate, and the strap is nicer than the usual plastic versions. To be honest, I was very glad that I'd already bought my husband a larger Timex from our local jewellers. This really is a very small watch, more suitable for a 10 - 12 year old than an adult. My son had this watch before, and it went AWOL. He was really pleased to get another one to replace it. Good for exams; lots of time setting facilities that don't make a noise. Comfy to wear, and looks good. When the first one turns up - it's in the house somewhere - his wee brother is getting it!
