At first I wasn't too impressed with this item. I loved the timer feature but the item felt incredibly light and cheap. Well, I realized I got "outdoor" ones so that's why they are made so cheap on the outside is to be weather-resistant. The weight issue still concerns me considering they're meant for outside use as they are incredibly light and I'm sure even a small amount of wind will easily knock them over. A breeze? Probably not, but even a mild 20 mph gust would surely knock these over I'd bet. I use them indoors so no worries.I have the 2,000 mAh Amazon rechargeable batteries in these and From August 30th through yesterday all 3 of these has remained lit for the few hour timer feature/setting I've had them on since I received them. I had read about two weeks use which I thought was great but I got over 40 days.I could have let them go longer I suppose. They had all been going strong but I decided to go ahead and recharge the batteries anyway. To my surprise, my battery tester still showed approximately 40% juice still left in all batteries. How long would they have lasted? I don't know, but I'd bet on quite a few more days if not a week or more easily.I recommend everyone buy these but if you're not using rechargeable batteries you're going to be spending a lot of money but that's the case with all electronics. Disposable batteries are such a waste these days.
