Use as gun cleaner, plastic basket won't mar gun finishes.Make your own cleaning solution with 1qt Automatic Transmission Fluid, 1qt Kerosene, 1qt Paint Thinner and 1qt Murphy's Oil Soap.Flash point of this mix is very high, no danger.Just leave the solution in the cleaner with lid closed, will skin over between uses, just peel off skin before next use.Remove delicate grips, do not clean over about 15 minutes or all the pins will start to vibrate loose.Pre-heat solution to no more than 55C, otherwise metal gets very hot.Removes crud almost impossible to get to otherwise.Do not rinse, just wipe off parts and re-assemble.This sized unit fits my .50 Desert Eagle and a Colt 1911 at the same time.
