I love the fact that this timer goes up to almost 100 hours. This is great for many tasks. It's very easy to use. I had to dock it one star because the magnets are iffy on the refrigerator. The timer moves when I punch in numbers. I placed an old timer with very good magnets resting below it to insure the new one doesn't shift at all. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.I really like the amount of time you can gage on thus timer. This is a terrific timer. It is full of handy features such as repeating the last amount of time used, and counting up. It is very loud. And the big numbers are easy to read. The magnet is a bit too weak to hold the timer in place on my dishwasher door, but on a surface that never moves it would be plenty strong. In terms of features, I think this is the best small magnetic timer I have ever bought.Nice timer with a pretty loud alarm. I've been using it in my finish room for various things. Timing the length of time the stain lays on the wood. Timing for lacquer drying etc. Easy to set, just plug in the time you want to count down from and push start. Alarm sound is on/off. A high/low volume might be nice. A red light flashes at the end of the countdown no matter if the alarm is on or off.Set the alarm at zero and press the start button and it counts up as a timer. No alarm with the up count.I've been using the magnet for a mount on a pc of steel I screwed to the wall. I put the timer in a clear plastic bag and let the magnet hold it to the steel. That way I don't have to worry about getting the timer stained.I bought 2 of these, one came with batteries the other did not. Both seemed unopened.I found this timer! It is silent while timing (unlike the ticking of a mechanical timer) and can go up to 99 hours, perfect for timing our clothes dryer when I set it at 80 minutes (entered as 8000 to have it show 00 hours, 80 minutes, 00 seconds). We haven't used it for crock pot recipes but since those usually run several hours it would be great for timing those, too. (My wife has a crock pot recipe that runs several hours.)Only down side is that when the switch is set to speaker the beeping is loud (at least to my ears), so when timing the preheating of the oven or entering digits I often move the switch to "Silent" and wait for the LED to flash; but when actually cooking will slide the switch back to "speaker" so I don't mess when the food should come out of the oven.I haven't used the memory function (after it has gone blank, hitting a key will bring back the most recent time entered) but I could imagine it would be convenient if cooking several batches of cookies in a row or cooking one pizza right after another. We just haven't had the occasion to do this in the short time we have received the timer.Overall, I MUCH PREFER this timer to the mechanical timer.Overall, I definitely recommend this timer! (Same company also makes a 3-timers device, but we usually need just one timer at a time at home.)Put in the exact time and start sure beats pushing a button 50 times for 50 seconds.3.5 out of 5 stars. This is a perfectly fine alarm. 3.5 stars because the plastic cover over the display scratches easily. The alarm is a three stage affair that gets more urgent the longer you wait to cancel it. It reminds me of spy movies where the hero is trying to figure which color wire of the bomb to cut without blowing himself up. If he guess wrong it then beeps really rapidly for a couple of seconds before blowing up. Lots of fun. I use it every day.Bought this timer because who wants to push a button 30 times for 30 minutes or more?? Easy to use. Easy to read display. And it is LOUD!! You definitely will be able to hear it!Timer is solid and easy to use. AAA batteries make it lasting for long time on one set, signal is quite loud, number pad makes it very easy to set up, display big enough.Magnet helps to keep it handy.Great timer, easy to use and definitely loud enough. It’s a product I would recommend or repurchase when I need a new oneKeeps good time. Very loud. I wish there was a volume control. This product is easy to use. Counts up and downI've never had a timer that went up to 99 hours before. I doubt I will ever use it for that long period of time but I sure have wished for one that went longer than my old one which only did 99 minutes! That doesn't work well for a roast of any kind. Also fond of the fact that it doesn't go off with a shrieking blast but starts with a beep and then has a louder alert if you don't catch it right away or happen to be out of the room. I like that feature also.I keep it on the side of my fridge and it's sticking there magnetically just fine.
