I just got my noise machine today, and it was more than I expected, good volume and good selection of noises, also it does’t have annoying lights like others out there.I love this machine, wouldn’t be without it! I have tinnitus and struggle with the loud ringing in my ears. The nightlight feature is a bonus. It has several sound options, but I usually stick with white noise. I think this is very reasonably priced, I have two and would highly recommend this machine. These are very user friendly and reasonably priced. I love the compact size and night lightNothing to dislike so far in the few months we’ve been using it.Works great!I just wish the buttons were a lot more noticible and finger friendly, but the sound is nice and loud if need be. Like the nightlight feature.Funny story. i am a nanny and been a nanny for over 15 years. parents always use the white noise when the babies sleep or naps well i started the same habit a long time ago and now i can’t sleep without the white noise, it helps me so much, it blocks the noises, to keeps me calm. this is the best device i strongly recommend it and will be purchasing one for my 19 year old daughter who also is addicted to this noise.Enjoying the oceans sounds to go to sleep every night! For background: we live in a noisy part of town in a building with poor sound insulation. We've used everything from portable bluetooth speakers (plugged into a power supply 24/7) to soundbars to small self-contained stereos, and even a few dedicated white noise machines. This is one of TWO white noise machines we reviewed this month from the same manufacturer and the TL;DR is: they're EXCELLENT. My reviews are very similar as the sound quality and volume is nearly identical - the only thing that seems to change are the button placement, and (slight) difference in shape/style.Size is about that of an average "thick", double-decker hamburger (think "Big Mac") and the machine has some heft to it, which bodes well: the speaker likely has a big magnet, pushing a heavy driver-cone. That assumption is backed up by the fact it pumps out very clean, voluminous sound - when turned up, the room fills a fairly large area (medium sized living room, or a hallway) and helps drown out noises from common areas or outside. This unit differs from the other we reviewed by moving several of the touch buttons from the top to the front where they're offered as physical "click" type buttons - specifically the timer button and +/- timer adjustments.Further, this unit deletes several functions such as musical melodies, and sound effect modes. While we liked the sound effect functions on the other device, this does simplify this unit quite a bit which makes it out go to for ease of use, and we never use the musical melody mode so no big loss there. Also removed is the headphone out jack the other one has. Frankly, we never use that feature either - if we're wearing headphones/earbuds, we'd likely just be piping white noise from a smartphone and avoiding the cord altogether but be aware of this.Top marks, highly recommended.
