A few utube videos showing a 12 v wiring . The instructions are for ac .. for 12v positive in #2 neg in #1 lope pos to #3 and lope neg to #4 like the instructions show. But that's ac .. I just took the wires from a bus bar .. 2 from pos and 2 from neg. It eleminates splicing and soldering .. like the instructions say press the manual 4 times till the a in left corner goes out , then and only then you can program it . Press p Set todays day then the clock time , press the clock button then back to p to set your squedual days and on and off.. the manual covers the buttons H for hours , M for minutes. If you think you messed up hit the clock button to see its still right and start over .. or do the reset..
