I bought this because I needed a light for doing my makeup at my desk and this was the only one in this style I could find that isn't a super boring color. It really is great for those two things, but now I love it for so many other reasons too.This is now the main light I turn on when I am in my bedroom (hate the big light, indirect light it is) and the remote control is so great, because I can turn the light on when I come in the door and/or turn it off when I am in my bed.I use all of the different light intensities but also especially all the tones. The warm light when I hang out at night, the cold when I do my makeup or draw something on my desk, the inbetween at all occasions. The gooseneck and the clip are great of course because you can move the light anywhere you want it to (where there is an USB-outlet).The switch on the cable has a small blue LED that glows when the light is off, which I didn't like at first, but now I find it actually useful to find the switch.
