Except for one quirk, I really love this timer. Programming it is fairly easy and the timer has performed well during the 2 or some months I've used it to water 4 zones of plants every other day or every 2nd day. The only thing I don't like about it is that my program is anything other than every day, the timer adds an extra day to the schedule each time any part of the program is changed. So if I am watering every 2 days (or every other day) and on a Monday change zone 1 from 15 minutes to 16 minutes, the program does not resume until Thursday instead of on Wednesday as originally set. This extra day is not added for changes if I'm watering every day. I've found a way to "trick" the program back to the schedule I originally set but it requires an extra step that should not be necessary. Despite this bother, I like this timer a lot. One nice feature is the spacing between the zone outlets that provides room for non-standard configurations. Note in my picture that I have a 1 to 2 splitter on zone 1 (far left) - something I could not do with another timer I tried that has all all the outgoing nozzle side by side.I have yet to run it through it’s paces but I’m sure like me, many people are going to use this for a fall seeding project so I wanted to give my initial thoughts: First off, the programming is simple and intuitive I figured it out just playing around with it. I didn’t even need to read the manual. Each zone has 4 individual programs so it’s perfect for seeding where you will need multiple short waterings per day. Having individual programs per zone also allows you to stager the start times so that you can run one zone at a time for water pressure. On the same topic of pressure one of my main concerns with this unit before I purchase was flow through the value and I can report that flow is Great with no noticeable pressure drop across the valve. Again I can’t speak to longevity but on initial review it meeting if not exceeds expectations and is perfect for a seeding application and more.My neighbor told me of this so I bought one. I’m absolutely glad that I did. Read the instructions programmed it and connected 4 lines, 3 programmed and all work as stated. I’ll be getting another one and get rid of the others I have.It works well and pretty easy to program and remember how to reset. However, the 4 outputs are made of very soft plastic and despite great caution, one of them cross threaded with the hose installation and was no longer usable. (and I was was being cautious because cross threading looked very easy) Fortunately, it's pretty easy to program the unit to water for "0" time and just leave the hose off. So I ended up with a 3 zone water timer.24 hours is the shortest repeat interval garden dieing with 1x a day smaller timers can go to 6 hour interval no reason that this timer couldn’t be at least 12 hours. Past the 30 day return.Product works great. Makes things way easier. The only drawback I have is that there is no mounting bracket or holes. I want mine mounted to the fence around my garden. I had to use a bunch of zip ties because they didn't make any accommodations for mounting. I guess they expect you to just leave it laying on the ground.Set up multiple sprinkler zones around entire lot perimeter and, two months in, the timer function is running perfectly and our land and plants are happy! Especially appreciated since homeowners had mobility difficulty this year.Works ok
