Used these to add lighting to my picnic and the lights made it all look so amazing.These lights are a great buy especially if you need versatility in placement due to not having an actual power outlet. The lighting effect modes and brightness are just as bright and powerful when just using the battery pack itself but I do suggest using name brand batteries if you want longevity in power use. Having the hooks on top rope can seem odd at first but do offer stability when hanging if you need the support. The long length of the power cord is not so bad but remember it has no leds on it but can blend in well. To connect the USB when needed there is a opening on the power block but you don't really notice it when not in use. The remote works well and is a great option to use when operating the lights once hung. The length of the led ropes is pretty fair once hung but keep in mind they are not floor length especially once hung and will vary depending on your specific project and placement, that being said the length is still enough to add effect once turned on..I love these lights! I have them outdoors in a couple of bushes. They have really brought a lot of cheer to this season. The remote works great I can turn them on and off through my Glass pane window. The only thing I don’t like is the batteries get worn down more frequently than I can afford. But basically they are great and I have really enjoyed them. They do last a long time on one set of batteries is just the brightness gets dimmer. But overall it is really fun to switch them between being still and bright and then blinking. A lot of fun. I do wish the box included more instructions on which buttons do which type of blinking. Because I can’t actually remember. But I would definitely recommend these great price for two strands of beautiful green lightsI used these on a for wreath I made. The remote has 8 different lighting options. The only thing that could be better is the battery life. I used these for about a month, about 5 hours a day and the lights were getting dim about 3 weeks in. I guess that is not horrible but I wish they had stayed brighter for a longer period of time.So easy and long lasting. I originally bought them to put on top of my kitchen shelves. They look great and I could put them on a timer to go on at night, and auto turn off. They last a long time without switching out batteries.I ended up using them for my small tree for Christmas and it was quick and easy.I am going to buy more for other places I want to light up around the house without having to use an outlet.I got this to light garland on the lamp posts in my community. Unfortunately there are no outlets on the lamp posts, so I started searching for battery operated lights. So far I've only had to replace the batteries once since the beginning of December, using the timer function that keeps the lights on for 6 hours, then off for 18. Battery box is waterproof and I haven't had any issue with keeping the batteries dry. So far very happy with this purchase.I used these lights on outdoor wreaths. They are very bright (which didn't bother me), so if you do not dim them a little, they probably would use the batteries quickly. I just dimmed them a bit, and the batteries almost lasted the whole holiday season! They were outside in rain, wind, and snow with no issues. I put lights on everything, and I will definitely order these again!Came with 2 remotes that control both sets of lights. Lots of settings to suit whatever mood I'm in. I like that I can adjust the brightness. Some of the settings are a little "Christmassy" while others are more subtle. I have them hanging up in my bedroom.
