I have to update my review: I heard from the seller and they were most helpful. They sent us a new remote for our fireplace. Couldn't be happier with our fireplace and the customer service. I would definitely buy again from them in the future. Thank you.We are really enjoying this fireplace. My husband built a cabinet to hold it and our TV. The fireplace generators good heat and we really like it. However, the remote has never worked. We have changed the battery, asked other buyers for suggestions and made several attempts to contact seller with no response. We are very frustrated with their lack of customer service. Would not buy from this seller again as they don’t seem to stand behind their products!I love the size of this unit. I like the option of different color patterns and heat on/off. The unit puts off a fair amount of heat in a small area. It was perfect for the room we were using it in. I do wish that it had come with more of the little “fire stones” since I like that look. I will just have to get more to add. I also like the remote feature. My husband is thinking he might build a small cabinet with a mantle on top to mimic a real fireplace.
