I wanted this Aroma Season mask for daytime use when I can't lie down. Overall, I'm happy with it, but it has some quirks.[DESIGN]The design is a bit odd. It resembles a "sexy cat mask," but given the cord for the built-in heating element hangs several inches below the face, it isn't something you'd wear for Halloween or, shall we say, "bedroom activities."[COMFORT, CORD, AND CONTROLLER]The cushion isn't as plush as my regular eye mask, but it's more padded than a costume mask and comfortable enough. It's not a "luxury" design, but it's operationally effective. The cord is plenty long for working at my desk or in bed. The controller is easily accessible.[HEAT AND TIMER SETTINGS]There are six timer settings, with 20 minutes as the default (cycling past 60 goes to 10). The heat is adjustable, and as someone whose default is always the highest setting in a heating device, I find the temperature sufficient for me.[VISIBILITY AND LACE]There's lace across the front, which I may remove. I wanted this for working, and while I can technically see through it, it's like wearing a lace veil. It softens the light, which might be good for headaches, but it's distracting, especially since I'm often bothered by the rims of my glasses when I rest my eyes.[HEATING ELEMENT]I wish the heating element extended higher on the forehead. However, it does run down the bridge of the nose, which is great for sinus pressure.[FIT]I'm fairly small, and the mask fits me decently. It may not be suitable for a significantly larger person. For reference, the mannequin in the photo is “junior” size.[VALUE]While I appreciate having heat relief while retaining visibility, the design, materials and lack of wireless charging make the $29.99 price feel a bit high. However, it's the only heated eye mask with eye cutouts I've found, so it's hard to compare.
