I purchased two of these for my grandsons, aged 5 and 7. They LOVED them and quickly learned how to run the remote controls. The galaxy projections are beautiful and offer many color options. The stars are nicely distributed - i.e. they appear more random than other projectors I've seen where stars appear in a grid formation. There is a good variety of white noise options of water sounds, twittering birds, a nice piano tune, and walking in leaves. If you prefer to listen to your own music, this robot hooks up to your phone via bluetooth. I had a little trouble hooking up to bluetooth at first, but I contacted the seller and received quick and excellent communication. In the end, all I had to do was to toggle the bluetooth on my iphone off & on, then the unit immediately connected.Everything on both units worked great. I don't know how long the units will last, but for $9, you cannot buy another star projector with so many features - especially the bluetooth connection. From past experience with a different aurora/star projector, I expect the projection function to eventually wear out in a year or two. My grandsons like these so much, at this price I'm going to buy a couple more to hold in reserve for when they do stop working. I could be wrong and these units will last many years - I hope so!
