Solar wasn’t an option for the spot we wanted to put it and we didn’t want to spend money for an electrician. So many of the battery powered lights are just so utilitarian with no aesthetic appeal but this light is both bright and aesthetically appealing. The fact that I don’t need to manually turn it on and off everyday is also a big plus. We’re very happy with this choice.
