Easy to use: Turn the center knob on the front of the timer counter-clockwise until you reach your chosen amount of time (up to 60-minutes). The timer is now set, and the quiet countdown has begun. I have previously owned one of the “home” models of the TimeTimer. I like these as they help with ADHD focus time. It shows how much time is left in a session. They are quick and easy to set and immediately count down. I’m super sensitive to even the lightest sounds and this makes zero noise as it counts down. I love that you can disable the ringer at the end too. I use it to get in the zone. So if the time ends while I’m in the zone I don’t want it distracting me. I want to keep going and I like that this does it.This model is an improvement over the Home model. I like the interchangeable silicon housing cover. It allows you to customize it without buying a whole new timer. The silicone is also just nicer anyway as it grips to the desk and is nice to handle. This model accepts a small screw over the batter compartment to kids don’t take the battery out if this is in school or you have a concern about that. I don’t but it’s a change over the home model. The build quality of this one is much better than the home model as well. It is sturdier and slightly larger. The red timer backing is also better than the Home model. This one doesn’t have the time clear tab over the timer part. Most people won’t care about this but it shows that it’s higher quality and a cleaner timer face as well.I’m happy with this one. I’ll probably buy more in the future and I’ll always buy this model over the Home going forward. It’s only a few dollars more and worth it in my opinion.
