I needed this for a wall unit air conditioner with a special plug so it would turn on in the afternoon before I arrived home. I searched everywhere before I found this one, and it was exactly what I needed. I've been using it since July 2010 and I love it! It's easy to use and does the job. I simply set the on and off times, plug in my air conditioner, turn the air conditioner on, and leave. The timer does what it's supposed to and at the right time my A/C comes on and cools my condo before I get home. I've become very good at setting the time accurately, it just takes a little practice. If you need a timer and have the special plug, I highly recommend this timer. It's worth the money.
