Work well, are not very bright but they do the job. Love the remoteIn case you don’t know me, you’ll be informed that everything I order from here is a duplicate for yet another thing the dog ate. Yes, she ate the last one, and I use my little candles daily for wall sconces. So glad they anticipated my needs!I think this has potential to work very well. Unfortunately the remote wouldn't work. I removed the plastic tab that you're supposed to take out before use, but the remote never worked. Such a bummer. I even tried a different battery but no luck.Lights were nice and bright, but I couldn't access any of their other features or turn them off without the remote. I'll probably buy a replacement remote in the future. Maybe mine was just defective.Fantastic find! We go into the woods and cut down our own Christmas tree each Christmas season. In the years passed I've disliked the look of string lights all over my Christmas tree that has clear individual branches rather than the trees you find at tree lots that would hide the light cords well. In my search to find Christmas lights that you can clip onto the individual branches I came across these lovely candles. A little hesitant at first thinking they might weigh down the branches too much due to the AA battery or that the LED light would be bright white instead of warm or even have a plastic 'flame' that looks cheep as some LED lights tend to be. Received four boxes of these candles today and spent some clipping them to my tree. They are perfect really. All of my hesitations were proven wrong - they didn't weigh down the branches on our tree, they are certainly more warm than bright white, and the 'flames' look beautiful even when not on and the sun is reflecting through the window. The clips have swivel heads which I didn't know even though I read the description as well as lots of reviews. This makes it so you can rotate the candle to sit straight even though it may be clipped to a branch that is not straight. Also, one remote works for all four boxes (40) candles. I wondered if I would have to use 4 different remotes to turn on all the lights, but one does the trick. I have a few candles sitting in candle holders on a shelf and am able to turn them to flicker while leaving my tree on constant at the same time. I just added these to my tree today, so I cannot speak to the life of the battery but plan to turn them on for around 6 hours per day. Wonderful solution for my needs!Though slightly fatter than real Christmas tree candles, and obviously plastic, these nevertheless add movement and charm to tree lighting. They’re easy to attach to the branches and to control with the remote. They flicker rather than “throb,” like some battery candles. Battery use is good, too—mine were on for hours every night for weeks, with no need to replace the (AA) batteries.I live these. Battery operated. Great if you don’t have an electric plugs. Can change the colors love themFirst set I got was for simple warm white candles - no timer, no color change, with a remote here's the review for these, which I love: Nice soft white. The clips work to get them onto tree branches. One of the green on buttons for flicker, the other for steady. One eats batteries so no longer using it - but for the price not worth fussing (the others haven't needed a battery change yet).Second set was the color changing on a timer (with remote) which I don't love: the timer runs about 23 hours, so if you turn them on at 8 one day they turn on about 7 the next day. Seem to turn off after the selected amount of time. But when they come on the next day they seem to have defaulted to pre-set color which is a mix of all the LEDs, and they do create a nice "rainbow" effect around them of pink, green and yellow. Since I had planned on putting them in various windows around the house, they won't work for this as the timer isn't right and the color isn't what I'd select. When they work, they look nice. Too bad they will only turn on once by remote control! The only way to get them to work again is to remove the battery cover on each candle and reinstall them. A couple of them will work twice but the rest only once. A real pain if the reason you purchased remote control candles was so you could place them in difficult to reach locations. Pretty disappointed, but no time to send them back for replacement before the holidays so we're stuck with them.
