Moderately good product for the price but very poor instructionsWhat I received: 2 clocks (exactly as pictured in the description above), model number on the box is MT-033, with batteries included, one photocopied instruction sheet, two black velvet-ish draw-string pouches which fit the clocks reasonably well, plus two extra CR2025 batteries.(Ironically, the pictures in the Amazon description are actually more accurate than the picture on the box the item comes in)The clocks appear to function exactly as advertised. The other review talking about problems with day of the week being off is just straight out wrong, as far as I can tell. I had no problem following the instruction sheet to set the date (Nov 1, 2020) and having it correctly show the day of the week (Sunday). The alarm was louder than I expected, and would be adequate to wake me (and I think average people) up as an alarm clock, etc. The instructions were not voluminous but seem to be fairly correct and cover all the important aspects. Time can be displayed in 12 or 24 hour time with the press of a button, and likewise temperature can be switched between Celsius and Farenheit easily. As mentioned in the description, this clock does not have a backlight. This is fine for my purposes, but is really the only basic feature which I can think of which it appears to be lacking.Very difficult to set and to silence the alarm.Update: All the good things are true, but the several we bought all keep time poorly, gaining several minutes over a month or two. Easy enough to reset, but no other digital clock I've had seemed to be within a minute after a year or longer.Seems robust; decent size battery suggests it'll last a while; clear English instructions on a letter sized sheet.Setting hour/minute/year/month/date merely requires pressing the 'mode' button once to set the hour, then again for minutes, etc. then one final time after the last input. Don't stop until you do year, month, day, or, as one reviewer complained, the day-of-week may be wrong.I opened the stand and slipped it between the bathroom mirror and the wall after applying a piece of scotch tape to the back to keep the clock face open.Edit 24 July 2021 - After a few months we noticed all these clocks (we're using 4) have gained between 4 and 7 minutes. Are are in an air conditioned house. Well below expectations for a modern digital clock (imo) but you may or may not care. Besides that, they're doing fine.We have clocks including travel clocks. What I was looking for was a clock, definitely one for the bathroom, that told the DATE and DAY OF THE WEEK because when I wake up, my brain has no concept of what day it is or what date (and we have clocks and thermometers already). This gadget has a clock too and we set it easy enough. We don't need an alarm or thermometer. Setting the date (month and date only) was easy enough. The problem is that the day of the week does not agree with the calendar for that month/day--and that's extremely important. Plus there is no way to change the day of the week to get it to agree with the date, that seems to be automatic. So this is just a piece of junk. I know the Chinese calendar is different from the west but they ought to mention that in the Amazon description. BTW, somewhere in the instructions it says something about "date (running from year 2000 to year 2009)" which I interpret as meaning that if I wanted a clock that gave me the date/day from 11-20 years ago, this clock would be ideal and be correct. I'm not into time travel when I'm groggy from just waking up and trying to figure out what day it is, and the past is the past, you cannot go back. I don't think these clocks should be sold without a big warning about this discrepancy in the date-day calendar cause it's important to some of us.For the money, you really can’t do better than this slim, small clock. I didn’t want a nightstand clock, so not having a backlight on this was fine with me. It includes day, date, temperature, and is pretty easy to set up, too. It comes well-packaged with a lithium-ion battery installed and ready to activate, along with a spare battery, which is really nice at this price point, and a nice travel pouch and instructions. the cover on the clock face folds around to become a base for the clock to sit on with just the right viewing angle. It’s unobtrusive yet very easy to read. Good for travel or around the house.Everything works. Except the day doesn't match up with the date, on both clocksThe clock is just the right size for travel. It does not have a back light but it is nice and bright. The box came with 2 clocks. Each clock had a battery and came with 2 additional batteries. The instructions did not tell how to change the time to Fahrenheit from Celsius. I reached out to the seller and they sent updated instructions. Very happy with the clocks. Great value for the price.
