It's actually shorter than item description by about a foot.At first, after putting new batteries in, they lit up nicely. After abt a week the remote stopped working. It uses a button battery. They're expensive so I decided to just press the on button on the unit and not buy a new button battery. Another week went by and they stopped turning on at all. I'm very disappointed. I thru away all the package so I won't be returning them. I just wasted my money.The remote wouldn't work properly initially or after I replaced the battery. The timer function never worked correctly, the lights would remain until I manually turned them off -After 2 days the remote broke….thankfully my lights were on so I guess I’ll just keep them on until the batteries die out? What a waste. I wish there was just a good ol’ on/off switch. Each day that they’re left on, they get dimmer. Do not buy these, there are better out thereThese Christmas lights modes are awesome. The worst part is they are very dim. When increasing the brightness with the remote it doesn't brighten as it should barely could see lights in the window in the evening. I had to purchase more lights and take those down. Very disappointed. I even used energizer batteries which is a rarity for me because I purchase lesser priced batteries. And another thing some days the lights were turned on and not functioning the remote is of poor quality had to push many times to get it to work. Would like a refund but I threw boxes out since they were new and I figured I wouldn't have any problems..I purchased the lights because I was looking for Purple lights.The lights look and work fine though the box says it comes with extra fuse and I didn’t receive any at all. So if one burns out there is no replacement .Kept on only at night and stopped working after a few weeks ):
