VERY VERSATILE timer. However, SOME of them have softer beeps than others (not consistent between units). Moreover, there is a COMMON manufacturing problem that causes MANY of them to be pressure-sensitive, causing them to malfunction (display going out, system locking up). Handle with care and try to keep pressure to a minimum when holding it. It can count up or down.
