First thing about this product is that I really like the brightness of the LED digits. I was a little concerned that 1.8" would be too small for my home gym. The digits are very bright and are easily visible from across the room. The unit is easy to program and so far works great. I do wish that it would provide a countdown the last three seconds like it does for the rest periods and the begin timer. The biggest issue I have with this is that the power adapter cord is about 4' long. There is no way to mount this to a wall and run the power adapter down to an outlet. I will have to purchase an adapter with at least 8 - 10' long.I was worried that this would ship with a crappy, confusing universal remote. But this has a custom made remote with the buttons clearly marked. Set up was easy and intuitive. The tabata function is the main reason I got this for and it works well. My wife uses it to make her workouts easier to do. Overall very pleased. Comes with mounting bracket's and screws that work ok. As others have said the power cord is on the short side and will need an extension cord in some applications. The printed instructions were in poor English but easy to read and use.Do not disregard the other reviews. The remote is a problem.We purchased two of these units for an improvement event at work in which we needed a timer that counted up and down and was programmable so we could set the timer for repeated use. We needed the products as quickly as possible, and this was one of the few that had the functionality we were looking for and could arrive before the end of the week.Of the two one remote worked properly. We know for sure that it was the remote and not the timer unit. The remotes work interchangeably with the timer, and the one worked with both timers. The fist time we used the defective remote it did work, but only once. Not all of the buttons stopped working, but the majority/important ones stopped working after just one use. The timer itself works great as long as you get a working remote.It's unfortunate that something as simple as the remote can ruin the entire product and quite possibly BTBSIGN's reputation. BTBSIGN please invest the resources to ensure a high quality working remote and your product will be a success, even if you have to raise the price a bit.With a 50/50 chance of the remote working it's a gamble. If you decide to purchase this product "may the odds be forever in your favor".An excellent product but I struggle with the remotes. I figured out why they don't work with all batteries. The remote anode (+) connector for the battery is recessed behind plastic and some batteries can't reach it. An energizer can and a Duracell can't due to the shape of their positive cap. I move the connector in front of the plastic and now any AAA battery works. I've added before and after photos to illustrate what I did. Otherwise, a great product!This clock works great for our home gym crossfit workouts. Does everything we need it to do and it’s easy to use!Great clock for home or garage gym. Used to use my phone for timing. This timer is a huge improvement over that. Meets all my needs and is very easy to use. Making adjustments to workout times is easy as well.Timer is very versatile timer, A+Love the clock. Have to be standing right beside the clock for remote to work.
