Please note, he yellow light is there for aesthetics and does not illuminate. This was done for two reasons. 1. We wanted the child to focus on task and not timer. We found that when yellow light illuminated child would then focus on timer to see when time was up. 2. Utilizing yellow light would take up too much battery power and we didn't want our customers to change batteries often - that can get expensive.
